Start the day early with a wake up call at 2:30 AM for the summit push. The trek is strenuous as it gets steep at few points. The trek commences at 4 AM with head torches at a slow moving pace towards the summit. Participants need not carry their complete backpack for the trek but only lunch and water bottle. They can leave the backpack at the camp itself as after the summit they will descend via the camp.
The way light comes and what happens in the sky is amazing, a variety of colours you will see in the sky. The summit offers some of the most spectacular views of Yamunotri and Gangotri Ranges. At summit we will spend some time and return back to Hargaon campsite via Kedarkantha base camp.
